What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategic plans for road weather management and the Arizona Travelers Information Program
- Provide training and educational resources to transportation personnel and stakeholders
- Evaluate and implement advanced weather forecasting models and technologies
- Establish performance metrics and evaluation criteria for program effectiveness
- Engage stakeholders to foster productive relationships and achieve program goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a valid Arizona Class D Driver License
- Knowledge of Road Weather Management and Travelers Information Systems
- Skills in project management, written and oral communication, and interpersonal relationships
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and communicate effectively at all levels
- Mandatory participation in the Arizona Retirement System (ASRS)

- Experience in heavy equipment operations related to Road Weather Management
