- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure new product introduction (NPI) activities are carried out smoothly.
- Host / lead key project meeting, propose meeting agenda and lead from US side for meeting preparation.
- Initiate MIL from action items following the meeting.
- Facilitate discussion on prioritizing MIL items and drive for conclusion.
- Identify critical path / milestones of the project progress and highlight to management team.
- Facilitate and monitor design discussion, DFM progress, failure analysis, etc.
- In charge of RFQ process of NRE and sample build of all stages of NPI process.
- Effectively and consistently communicate overall program status to all stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve conflicts efficiently, set priorities to moving things forward, and highlight risks / opportunities to management team.
- Coordinate with the operation team to ramp production.
- Build close relationship with customer cross functional team and drive company support satisfaction improvement.
- Master's degree is required. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background is a plus.
- 1-3 years of program management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
- PMP certificate is a plus.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques, such as injection molding, stamping, product assembly, SMT, etc.
- Working knowledge of production and quality control methodology in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in conversational Mandarin is highly desired.
- The base pay range for this role is between $111,429.00 to $156,000.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
We are seeking a Program Manager in GoerTek, Santa Clara office to handle projects from new product development to mass production of the latest consumer electronic products from Tier 1 customers. Responsible for overall coordination between US-based customers and global GoerTek teams, you will interact with customers and internal teams daily and be responsible for driving schedules and deliverables.
