      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage the statewide Energy & Utility Program Database for the Construction and Facilities Management Office
      - Plan, direct, and oversee solid waste collection, recycling, and diversion processes
      - Conduct energy-use audits and analyze energy and water consumption data
      - Prepare and administer solid waste and recycling contracts
      - Ensure compliance with state and federal laws regarding energy and utility management

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree
      - Two years of professional level experience in energy/utilities work, solid waste/recycle program management, program/project management, financial management, facility management, or policy development
      - Experience with tracking, analyzing, and reporting on energy/utilities usage
      - Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite for developing complex documents
      - Valid driver's license to drive in the State of Washington

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in energy management, building construction, or a related field
      - Familiarity with State of Washington contract rules/procedures and purchasing processes
      - Understanding of energy and utility management concepts and procedures
      - Basic budget management and payment processes experience
      - Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to energy management
