What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the development, updates, and implementation of required safety and security reporting for K-12 education
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of data received from school districts and provide technical assistance as needed
- Conduct reviews of applications and district reports to identify technical and reporting issues
- Provide guidance and support to school districts in implementing strategies for safety and security compliance
- Coordinate compliance and monitoring visits to ensure adherence to statutory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a position involving public contact
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel frequently within the state of Florida
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with State of Florida K-12 school districts or state education agencies
- Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting, or quality assurance related to safety and security programs
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions
- Familiarity with state or federal education reporting standards and regulations
