- Directly leads small team within PM discipline
- Directly leads multiple IPDTs of varying complexity across multiple projects or a single programme
- Accountable for all programme outcomes associated with work scope, including but not limited to cost schedule and quality including the P&L activities associated with each of these items
- Accountable for all programme reporting across full portfolio
- Accountable for all P&L outcomes associated with projects within the portfolio
- Accountable for ensuring the drumbeat of the programme is executed within the required governance structure
- Key customer relationship manager taking the role as primary customer contact or potentially first line of escalation depending on project magnitude
- Leads all activities associated with portfolio of customers including deploying customer first, monitoring results and taking appropriate actions to ensure best in class performance
- Manages deployment of customer strategy in line with strategic planning requirements defined
- Captures best practice and learning from experience from across portfolio and deploys to improve the business
- Customer focus - Takes time to understand stakeholder requirements, effectively plans and executes to meet these and delight customers
- Excellent communication skills - covering all levels of the organisation as well as satisfying key customers both internally and externally
- Proven Programme Management experience
- Coaches junior project management staff to continuously achieve the required skill base breadth and depth
- Fully utilise their extended network and influencing skills to gain collaborative agreement with key stakeholders to progress project or business needs
- Enable and empower others within the business to be successful
- Advise and arbitrate on issues which relate to complex or sensitive assumptions, approaches, arguments, conclusions and decisions
- Develop personnel and team experiences to improve critical thinking in self and others
- Advise on strategies for improving team dynamics on complex or challenging teams
- Enable others towards continuous learning and self-development and act as role-model
- Demonstrates excellent understanding of the activities of other functions and how these can be combined for highly performing projects
- Engineering or Manufacturing experience would be helpful
- Accreditation with APM or PPM again would be helpful

An exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager has arisen within the Actuation Systems business based in Wolverhampton.
This role requires a data driven, high achieving individual reporting to the PMO Director to take responsibility for leading the continued functional development of PM right across the Actuation portfolio.
In this role you work will with a variety of stakeholders managing multi million pound programmes.
