What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in coordinating Teacher Appreciation Week, including donation requests and organizing giveaways
- Provide support for small events, fundraisers, and communications as needed
- Attend Board meetings and gain exposure to nonprofit governance
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to support organizational initiatives
- Work remotely with occasional in-person support for events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Commitment to equity in education and diversity in team composition
- Interest in education, literacy, nonprofit work, or social impact
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency with basic digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Experience with education or nonprofit organizations is helpful but not required
