      We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Project Civil/Water Resources Engineer to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position that can be located in one of the following office locations Greenwood Village, CO; Boise, ID; Phoenix, AZ; or Tucson, AZ.

      DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
      In this position, you will:

      • Support projects involving Hydrology & Hydraulic (H&H) studies and design documents.
      • Conduct H&H analyses, perform designs, calculations, and created design drawings using specialized software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and CAD.
      • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams and nationwide company offices and client/project locations.
      • Conduct routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis using discipline-specific approved procedures.
      • Assist in identifying technical issues and approaches for evaluation.
      • Become proficient with local, state, and federal regulations.
      • Draft technical sections of project communications, work plans, and reports.
      • Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.
      • Comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter.

      SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
      Minimum Skills and Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or similar.
      • PE license or ability to obtain EIT/PE license within 2 years of hire date preferred.
      • 0-5+ years of related experience preferred.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to technical details.
      • Experience with industry standard surface water modeling software is a plus, such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and CAD, C3D, among others.
      • Computer skills – Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong sense of urgency and self-initiative.
      • Willingness to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and project team collaboration.

      The salary range for this position in Denver, CO is $60,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
