What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements for a standard Practice Information Management System (PIMS) from internal stakeholders
- Act as the liaison to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable information for the vendor
- Lead discussions on standard configuration to ensure alignment with operational standards and best practices
- Identify gaps in functionality and work with the vendor to develop a roadmap for enhancements and improvements
- Collaborate with the PIMS Implementation Manager to oversee testing, validation, and user training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
- Familiarity with data security, privacy, and system integration principles in healthcare/veterinary environments
- Experience leading stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering for IT or practice management systems
- Proficiency with collaborative tools and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge or certification in Lean Six Sigma principles to drive process improvement and operational efficiency
- Skilled in documenting and prioritizing functional/non-functional requirements
