      Position Overview

      We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a unique blend of health insurance expertise and strong IT/technical knowledge. This role requires exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to successfully lead complex healthcare technology initiatives.

      Key Responsibilities

      Project Leadership
      • Lead end-to-end project management for healthcare IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
      • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
      • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
      • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

      Healthcare & Technical Integration
      • Bridge the gap between clinical/operational healthcare needs and technical solutions
      • Translate complex healthcare requirements into actionable technical specifications
      • Understand health insurance processes, claims management, and reimbursement workflows

      Stakeholder Management
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including operational staff, IT teams, executives, vendors, and external partners
      • Facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels
      • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and provide transparent project updates
      • Navigate competing priorities and negotiate solutions that satisfy multiple stakeholders
      • Manage change management processes and drive user adoption

      Team Collaboration
      • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, healthcare professionals, and business users
      • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving
      • Mentor team members and promote professional development

      Required Qualifications

      Education & Certification
      • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
      • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
      • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe)

      Experience
      • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in healthcare IT environments
      • Proven experience with health insurance operations, claims processing, or healthcare revenue cycle
      • Demonstrated success managing large-scale IT implementations in healthcare settings

      Technical Skills
      • Strong understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure, systems integration, and data management
      • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12)
      • Knowledge of database management, cloud technologies, and software development lifecycles
      • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.)

      Healthcare Knowledge
      • Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models and insurance operations
      • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and quality standards
      • Familiarity with value-based care, population health management, and healthcare analytics

      Interpersonal & Leadership Skills
      • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to present to executive leadership
      • Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution capabilities
      • Proven ability to influence without authority
      • Excellent negotiation and consensus-building skills
      • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, changing environments
