What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage federal construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance
- Collaborate with federal agencies, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and success
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules using appropriate project management tools
- Provide transparent reporting on safety, cost, and schedule metrics to Program Management
- Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing federal construction projects valued at $5M or more
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred
- PMP certification required within 12 months of hire; OSHA 30 required
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA requirements, and ISO 9001
- Proficiency in project management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with construction contracts for federal agencies such as DOE, DOD, or GSA
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools for project management
- Success in managing both small- and large-scale state or federal programs
