What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee mid- to large-scale initiatives, serving as the central point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project scope, deliverables, and compliance with company project management policies and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and manage dependencies and risks
- Prepare status reports, maintain project workbooks and timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Assign and monitor the work of project team members, providing support and direction as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge and proven application of project management methodologies and full project life cycle processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 8 or more years of project management experience
- 3 or more years of project management experience in the insurance industry
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Rally or Jira
- PMP Certification
