What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee projects from order entry through equipment design, manufacturing, and startup
- Serve as the primary client-facing contact, understanding and anticipating client needs
- Manage daily/weekly progress reporting and communications with contractors and clients
- Coordinate the resolution of complex issues with Project Engineers and facilitate warranty claims
- Communicate project costs and schedules to finance partners, ensuring projects stay on budget
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industries such as electrical equipment, construction, energy, utility, or oil & gas
- At least 3 years of direct project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to influence without authority, with strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with critical power projects, specifically in data centers and hospitals
- Familiarity with Power Control Systems (switchgear) and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Previous critical power field service experience
- Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and engineering firms
- Knowledge of SAP and financial acumen in contract management
