What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage zoning, entitlement, permitting, and jurisdictional approval processes
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, surveyors, and specialty consultants
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets from predevelopment through construction
- Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and reporting systems
- Coordinate closely with General Contractors and key construction vendors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-7 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related field
- Direct experience with residential development projects
- Strong experience with predevelopment entitlements and consultant coordination
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost controls, and construction processes
- Proficiency with Excel and project/document management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with residential, multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use projects
- Experience working directly with ownership or investment teams
- Familiarity with public entitlement and municipal approval processes
