What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage small and medium-sized projects to completion, coordinating work with internal and external resources
- Ensure compliance with design concepts by coordinating engineering work
- Oversee project teams to ensure timely completion of documentation
- Present design concepts to clients and secure their approval
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate of architecture, design, or business school; equivalent experience may be substituted
- Minimum of 8 years' experience producing design projects
- Extensive knowledge of materials, furnishings, and construction methods related to interior architecture
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
- Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Corporate interiors experience is a plus but not required
- Proven ability to write and negotiate contracts for services, consultants, and contractors
- Advanced presentation and graphic communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead staff effectively
