  Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving complex projects to success in a dynamic, remote environment? We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Tech IV to oversee and deliver critical technology initiatives that impact organizational growth and efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will lead high-performing teams, manage multiple project phases, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from conception to completion.
  
  What You'll Do:
  As a Project Manager Tech IV, you will define project requirements, identify milestones, and support change management efforts. You will lead the design and development of computer solutions alongside analysts and developers, providing clear direction to scrum teams, overseeing work management, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Your leadership will be vital in guiding technical decision-making, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects align with organizational goals. Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels will facilitate smooth stakeholder engagement and project success.
  
  Required Skills:
  
  
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in project management or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and work management tools such as Version One
  • Working knowledge of Java, UNIX, and SQL (Oracle DB)
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills with experience managing technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively across all organizational levels
  • Ability to provide research-backed decisions and articulate options clearly
  • Familiarity with public trust security requirements and documentation, possibly including SOX
  
  Nice to Have Skills:
  
  
  • Experience with change management processes
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
  • Prior management leadership experience in a technical environment
  
  Preferred Education and Experience:
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field; or
  • Equivalent related experience (4+ years if degree is outside the field)
  • Prior experience with software development and technical project leadership
  
  Other Requirements:
  
  
  • Ability to work remotely with flexible coordination across teams
  • May require specific credentials/certifications at the task order level (case-specific)
  • Clearance requirement: Public Trust
