What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver high-quality, on-time proposal responses to sales bids
- Analyze RFPs/RFIs and prepare compliant proposal drafts and final responses
- Coordinate and manage schedules, deadlines, and timelines for proposal documents
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and maintain up-to-date business knowledge
- Write, edit, and proofread proposal documentation and manage related software systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing effective sales-oriented proposals
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and effective workload management abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with writing style guides and formats
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Previous work in a business development or proposal development role
