What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the main contact for dental providers regarding participation status, credentialing, and contract inquiries
- Process new provider applications and credentialing requests while maintaining accurate records
- Respond to provider and member inquiries professionally via phone, email, and voicemail
- Manage queue-based tasks, including provider additions, terminations, and contract maintenance
- Collaborate with internal departments and network leasing partners to ensure data consistency and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 2-4 years of related experience is required
- Previous experience in provider relations or a similar role is highly preferred
- Insurance industry experience is preferred
- Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience mentoring peers or training new hires on systems and procedures
- Familiarity with compliance and credentialing standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complaints effectively
