What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct operational psychometric analyses and research to support large-scale adaptive assessment programs
- Collaborate with assessment development and psychometrics teams during regular meetings
- Focus on at least one major research project that informs product decisions
- Analyze engagement and usage data related to digital personalized instruction products
- Develop methodologies to improve fairness and validity in assessments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing a doctorate in educational measurement, educational psychology, educational research, psychometrics, learning analytics, data science, or a related field
- Completion of measurement-related coursework or applied measurement experience
- Strong interest in research impacting student learning and/or applied psychometrics
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis in R and/or SAS
- Must be located within the U.S. for the duration of the internship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least three years of doctoral-level coursework completed by the start of the internship
