What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute cohesive press releases and creative storylines for brands
- Identify trends and create custom pitches to leverage for brand promotion
- Maintain and organize a PR database while responding to media information requests
- Analyze niches and verticals, scrutinizing clients' websites for linkable assets
- Engage with the content creator network and manage outreach campaigns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior experience in Public Relations and Social Media
- Flawless written and spoken English
- Ability to write and distribute press releases
- Strong relationships with writers, journalists, bloggers, and influencers
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Journalism or media training
- Experience with services like HARO and MuckRack
- Familiarity with leveraging platforms like Reddit and Quora for PR strategies
- Proven track record of published content on authoritative sites
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
