What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute cohesive press releases, creative storylines, and pitches for various brands
- Identify trends and opportunities for brands through custom pitches and storylines
- Craft compelling outreach strategies and refine existing outreach models
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive PR database
- Liaise between clients and media, responding to information requests as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Prior experience with public relations and social media
- A background in journalism or media training is preferred
- Flawless written and spoken English skills
- Ability to write and distribute press releases effectively
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with services like HARO and MuckRack
- Proven ability to secure media coverage for clients
- Experience leveraging platforms like Reddit and Quora in PR strategies
- Established relationships with writers, journalists, bloggers, and influencers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
