What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research product status with suppliers and communicate updates to the Customer Excellence Team
- Contact carriers to ensure timely delivery appointments for orders in transit
- Create Off Cycle Vendor POs and Interbranch POs as needed for the Active At-Risk team
- Follow up on issues with the Inventory Control team or DC Receiving teams and escalate recurring problems
- Update item health database with estimated arrival times for new onboarding customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Inventory Supply (supply chain planning, inventory management, operations, manufacturing planning, and/or forecasting)
- Demonstrated ability to manage large amounts of data and multi-task effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at various organizational levels
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications, as well as data visualization tools like Power BI
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Experience dealing with large, demanding customers in complex distribution networks
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with customers
- Strong organizational and influencing skills
- Flexibility to support multiple projects simultaneously
