      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct senior-level financial reviews and analysis of accounts payable and purchasing records
      - Assist with approving payments, processing 1099s, and reconciling inventory
      - Serve as a liaison between agency-wide users and the Office of Financial Management for financial integrity
      - Create and process journal vouchers while maintaining accuracy of petty cash funds
      - Participate in monthly and annual reviews of general ledger accounts for proper coding

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Professional experience in purchasing, accounts payable, finance, or related fields
      - Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations, policies, and procedures
      - Knowledge of statewide accounting policies, Agency Financial Reporting System, and accepted accounting principles
      - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial review and analysis
      - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in teams

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - At least 12 quarter hours or 8 semester hours in accounting or budgeting courses
      - 6 months of experience applying statewide accounting policies to authorize and code payables
      - Experience with system testing and reconciliation in purchasing and expenditure-related systems
