      We are looking for Purchasing & Procurement Manager (Benelux) to join the Wolters Kluwer Global Business Services (“GBS”) Sourcing and Procurement Team.

      As the Purchasing and Procurement Manager (Benelux), you will be a key member of our global Sourcing and Procurement team located across India, the USA, and Europe. Reporting to the Director of Procurement, your primary responsibility is managing the Souring & Procurement for the Benelux region. You will work across multiple purchasing domains including Professional Services (Non-Product Spend (NPR), Communication, Marketing), Print & Logistics, and Facilities across a local and global Supplier base. You will work closely with our global category leader team to ensure close alignment on category strategies and sourcing standards.

      Related responsibilities include Running RFXs, contract negotiation, contract management, facilitating performance reviews with suppliers, coordination of dispute resolution, third-party management guidance and assistance.

      You will:

      • Manage important Supplier relationships and be the central contact and escalation point on commercial issues with the supplier.

      • Perform Vendor negotiation on main terms and pricing.

      • Work with contract administration to track obligations and performance.

      • You’ll partner with colleagues from a wide range of business areas across the Benelux region and globally to develop purchasing strategies that support strategic business objectives and deliver cost advantage.

      • Anticipate and flag risk and concerns related to important vendors. Mitigate risks by working with the Third-Party Management Program.

      • Deliver savings targets associated with management of vendors.

      • Coordinate and team with the internal business owner and legal counsel to negotiate contracts that meet the legal requirements of Wolters Kluwer and the requirements of the business owner.

      • Work with global internal and external customers, crossing cultural language barriers.

      • Maintain relationships; manage change; independently lead the decision-making process among senior leadership on sourcing procurement strategies.

      Your profile:

      • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Information Technology, Legal, Supply Chain Management (Procurement) or equivalent combination of education and work experience

      • 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, negotiation and relationship management.

      • Experience in sourcing Professional Services (Non-Product Spend (NPR), Communication, Marketing), Print & Logistics, and Facilities. Experience in IT or Software is highly desired but not essential.

      • Knowledge and good understanding on contract terms and ability to identify opportunity areas. Understanding of legal requirements, and able to provide input to legal on contracts.

      • Experience handling multiple programs/ projects at the same time.

      • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The ability to communicate at different levels of seniority, different cultures, and across different teams within Wolters Kluwer. Fluent in English and Dutch.

      • Basic excel skills (Lookup, Pivot), translate thoughts and ideas in concise PowerPoint pages.
