      Position Overview:
      Goldfish Swim School, BHB Operations is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Purchasing Manager. This is a new, ground-up position within our organization, offering an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in building and implementing processes. As a franchisee, adherence to brand standards is paramount, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance while establishing efficient procurement procedures from the ground up.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies in alignment with organizational goals and brand standards.
      • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
      • Create and maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including pricing, contracts, and inventory levels.
      • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand departmental needs and provide procurement support and guidance.
      • Monitor market trends, identify potential cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing procurement activities.
      • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
      • Provide training and support to staff members on procurement processes and systems as needed.
      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
      • Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in procurement or purchasing roles, with a strong emphasis on building and implementing processes.
      • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
      • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
