Job Description

- Analyze and interpret data from various sources to update donor information, manage duplicate records, and resolve database inconsistencies.
- Work closely with constituent records in the database to recognize and flag data hygiene issues, process issues, and system failures.
- Run established and scheduled processes that are critical to the functioning of Blackbaud CRM and other applications serving overall business operations.
- Interact and communicate closely with the Development fundraising and administrative staff.
- Provide application support, answer questions, and build great relationships with users.
- Conduct data integrity projects within Blackbaud CRM, the fundraising database for MSK, and other applications serving Development.
- Validate data and test system functionality during database upgrades and conversions.
- Assist in identifying the areas with the greatest need, developing a plan, and seeing them through to completion.
- Evaluate how changes to functionality may impact user experience, data integrity, business rules, and system workflows, and provide feedback to management.
- Seek a quick and thorough resolution to any issues that may arise to ensure business is not interrupted.
- Become well-versed in all business rules and the individual processes and workflows across Development and offer suggestions for improvement.
- As needed, assist with process documentation, provide backup to training staff, and contribute to team projects.
- 1-4 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to synthesize and present highly sophisticated/technical information so that it is clear, concise, and easy to understand.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical aptitude and desire to continually learn and innovate.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- High level of attention to detail, process, and organization.
- Passion, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Curious nature and drive for continuous improvement.

- Ability to determine how best to reach different audiences and adapt communications based on that understanding.
- Experience and interest in fundraising and CRM databases used to support Development efforts (e.g. Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge, Luminate Online, Salesforce Nonprofit, CharityEngine, etc.).
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or Smartsheet.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Excellent presentation skills and training experience.
- Understanding or a strong interest in human-centered design or design thinking.
- Experience in large organizations and/or cross-functional matrixed teams.
- Ability to share a point of view confidently and credibly while developing trusting relationships.
Pay Range

Job Description
MSK is seeking a QA Analyst to join our Development Operations team, where they will serve a crucial role in maintaining and improving departmental systems. The QA Analyst will work closely with users, leadership, and other Development staff to run and maintain multiple processes and provide support for our CRM system functionality as well as other software applications serving MSK Development.
The Development Operations team is responsible for the technical infrastructure and business operations that support the Development Department. We aim to improve MSK’s fundraising potential through the creation of innovative technology and process solutions. Professional growth, continuous improvement, and collaboration are all critical to our success.
