What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct manual testing of new software in both pre- and post-release stages to identify bugs and issues
- Review system specifications to ensure products meet design standards before release
- Design and develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Document testing phases and defects, reporting them to Engineering Teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work-related experience
- 0-3 years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of user needs and ability to translate them into business specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while meeting deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies
- Experience with software and systems, particularly in agile teams
- Familiarity with development methodologies and types of testing (Functional, System Integration, Regression, etc.)
- Understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and/or Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Strong client-centric focus
