- Analyze business requirements and technical specifications
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and/or automated testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Proven experience in software testing or QA role
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- ISTQB certification (optional but beneficial)
