Job Summary:

Pagoda Asian Kitchen is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a talented team, maintaining high standards of service, and driving profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leadership Excellence: Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to ensure staff development and growth.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement efficient procedures to streamline workflows, reduce wait times, and enhance overall productivity and profitability.
• Customer Satisfaction: Uphold a culture of outstanding customer service, addressing feedback promptly, and ensuring customers receive a memorable experience.
• Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance, analyzing reports and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
• Marketing and Promotion: Execute company marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers, contributing to sales growth.
• Quality and Compliance: Support daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining high food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and a passion for healthy dining options is a plus.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
