What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform quality assurance testing for various educational applications and systems
- Collaborate within a team to support the design, development, and enhancement of agency systems
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle related to agency projects
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to understand and convey technical information
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and maintain accountability for deliverables
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in relevant fields such as computer science or data processing
- Minimum of two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11
- Experience in quality assurance testing and knowledge of testing platforms
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working as part of an agile team
- Proficiency in creating and executing automated tests
- Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis
- Previous experience in public service or a government-related role
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team in a diverse working environment
