What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform detailed audits of mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with regulations
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other areas within the department and assist with audits
- Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for regulatory adherence
- Document findings clearly and provide corrective action recommendations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage Quality Assurance or compliance
- Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, guidelines, and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed knowledge and experience working with HMDA reporting
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
