What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Audit assigned functions for accuracy, benefit payment, contract interpretation, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Identify, document, and report transaction errors utilizing departmental quality monitoring templates for prompt resolution
- Act as a coach and mentor to less experienced associates and serve as a subject matter expert on operations
- Assist with cross-training and skill development activities in conjunction with the management team
- Proactively identify trends and training opportunities based on quality evaluations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of progressive claims, customer service, enrollment, and/or billing auditing experience, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance and production technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
