- Support the Science Quality Manager in the delivery and maintenance of the QMS (Quality Management System) that is fit for purpose and meets standard requirements (e.g.: ISO9001, ISO17025).
- Perform internal quality audits to ensure appropriate compliance with the agreed Quality Management System and mitigate external compliance risks.
- Implement continuous improvement plans in line with the agreed Quality Management System and any external accreditation requirements to improve and simplify BAT quality processes.
- Provide support for quality processes such as Deviations and CAPA (Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions) with appropriate and agreed accountabilities.
- Maintain a robust document management system/process.
- Act as Mastercontrol SME.
- Follow up on quality Key Performance Indicator’s.
- Have you worked for a Quality Management System and/or Team?
- Have you used any QMS software? Please name it.
- Have you worked in Quality assurance for a R&S environment?
- Do you have knowledge in ISO 9001, GLP/GCP in Research facilities?
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role in fast-moving goods industry.
- Implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.
- Practical knowledge of scientific approaches to methods/techniques.
- Proven understanding of quality assurance management and quality management systems.
- ISO 9001, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Clinical Practices knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Logical problem solver with practical outlook leading to pragmatic proposals and decision-making.
- Basic digital literacy & relevant software packages (e.g. Document management - Mastercontrol / training, Power Bi).
- Practical experience of running Corrective Action and Preventive Action process.
- BSc/MSc in a life science/chemistry or quality/project management/business related subject area or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Working across multiple functions/projects.
- Solid understanding of Quality Management systems.
- ISO 17025 knowledge.
- Working in an R&D Environment.
