What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and direct multiple complex projects focused on healthcare quality improvement and patient safety
- Analyze clinical quality data and develop action plans for quality improvement initiatives
- Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and develop roadmaps to ensure timely project completion
- Communicate project status, resource needs, and responsibilities effectively across all levels of the organization
- Mentor junior Quality Improvement Specialists and collaborate closely with the Patient Safety & Quality leadership team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management or quality improvement
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Project/Performance Improvement principles such as Lean Six Sigma or PDSA
- Familiarity with healthcare quality programs and initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
