What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with software design and coding for Railroad Technical Solutions
- Respond to requests from senior Solutions Architects and support software design
- Maintain code libraries and create internal and external documentation
- Learn debugging techniques and test applications for performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute projects effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Front-End Web developer or in a similar position
- Knowledge and experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS required
- Understanding of databases and operating systems
- Ability to learn new software and techniques quickly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Railroad Project Management operations
- Active QB Pipelines Builder Certificate
- Knowledge and experience with Python and Jinja
- Familiarity with QuickBase, AWS, and ESRI Software
- Understanding of emerging cloud-based project management technologies
