What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and grow business within an assigned sales territory
- Promote and sell genetic diagnostic testing services to hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices
- Negotiate and manage contracts while expanding menu utilization in existing accounts
- Develop and deliver customer-specific action plans and presentations
- Achieve sales goals and manage customer data in the company database
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory services sales or medical device sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
- Experience using CRM applications such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM
- Strong track record of sales success with laboratory testing across medical specialties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
- Existing customer base within the designated territory
- Formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS
- Ability to handle complex sales processes and technical product discussions
- Strong networking and relationship development skills
