What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence, academic institutions, and health systems
- Serve as a key resource for physicians and healthcare providers in advocating for rare disease patients
- Execute strategic business plans reflecting market conditions and brand objectives
- Provide high-level clinical education and support to healthcare providers managing patients with rare CAH disease
- Navigate complex hospital settings to access key stakeholders and facilitate patient access to therapies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree and 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
- Proven sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments and recognition awards
- Experience in rare diseases preferred, along with prior experience calling on Key Accounts and academic institutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
- Experience with products in specialty pharmacy distribution or Hub Model
- Previous start-up or market development experience
- Endocrine experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex accounts
