      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a RCSA Lead Control Management Officer in within the Chief Control Executive Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) team to ensure effective frameworks are established as well as to ensure that significant and emerging risks are captured properly as they arise. This position sits within the Consent Order Integration organization and will support RCSA Quality Assurance and Program Management activities aligned with the enterprise RCSA program and in coordination with Enterprise Risk Identification and Assessment (ERIA), Operational Risk Events (ORE), Internal Control Program (ICP), Foundational Risk Components (FRC), front-line monitoring and Evidence Based Control Evaluation (EBCE) program areas as required to drive the implementation of Wells Fargo’s policies across all business groups and enterprise functions. This role will partner with executive management to define and deliver Quality Assurance initiatives and programs across RCSA and will build relationships with a wide variety of senior leaders and enterprise partners across all business groups and enterprise functions (BG/EF).

      In this role, you will:

      Aid in the enterprise design, implementation and ongoing program management of RCSA Quality Assurance, in coordination with EBCE, ERIA, ORE, ICP and FRC program areas including insight generation and analysis of:

      • Service model, business process, risk driver and risk identification to ensure inventory completeness
      • RCSA risk and control assessments, including rationale, to ensure quality and consistency
      • Risk & control inventory, rating trend and other horizontal comparisons leveraging central team view
      • Develop subject matter expertise across BG/EFs to enable qualitative insight that may require RCSA changes
      • Internal and external drivers of potential RCSA change including risk events, issue management, emerging risk drivers, new regulation and other factors

      In addition, the Lead Control Management Officer will be expected to:

      • Demonstrate strong relationship-building and project management skills to drive consistent high-quality execution of the RCSA program within the Control Executive Teams, across Control groups and across all BG/EFs working across all lines of defense and partner organizations.
      • Facilitate development of front-line processes and procedures for program requirements along with process training and implementation execution
      • Support management of consent order action plan elements assigned to RCSA, including measurement of progress, communication of progress, achievements and metrics dashboard reporting
      • Engage with Consent Order Integration leadership team as required in support of consent order work stream activities and deliverables
      • Provide support of governance activities and guidance over RCSA activities
      • Aggregate, evaluate, report results and escalate where necessary. Recognize opportunities for improvement in the business and to act on those opportunities
      • Develop presentations and materials for senior leaders with effectiveness across a wide range of audiences, with demonstrated ability to draw insights and conclusions from content originating from multiple sources and of various quality levels and to tie those insights into a cohesive story/executive presentation

      Required Qualifications:

      5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


      Desired Qualifications:

      • Strong expertise in RCSA methodology / QC/QA process development, execution and reporting
      • Clear understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type
      • Technical understanding of Corporate Risk operations, processes, and responsibilities
      • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders as well as across various levels within the organization
      • Experience working in a matrixed environment and the ability to effectively manage and build relationships within the BG/EFs and with Corporate Risk
      • Strong listening and communications skills (both written and oral) with the ability to convey complex information and ideas, including complex data sets, both simply and clearly
      • Able to synthesize material from multiple sources to create logically structured content that clearly communicates the intended topic to a wide range of audiences
      • Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early and engage in constructive challenge, doing so independently when necessary
      • Demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution
      • BS/BA degree or higher, MBA or other advanced degree from a top program preferred
      • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Alteryx etc.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Share Point

      Pay Range:

      New York, New York: $133,300-$237,100

      Charlotte, North Carolina: $111,100-$197,500

      Phoenix, Arizona: $111,100-$197,500

      Dallas, Texas: $111,100-$197,500

      Minneapolis, Minnesota: $111,100-$197,500

      Des Moines, Iowa: $111,100-$197,500
