What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage design and construction activities for assigned capital projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate project communications, contract administration, change orders, and procurement processes
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved documents, regulations, and codes
- Develop project management teams and establish responsibilities matrix at the start of each project
- Interface with hospital operations leadership for effective project coordination
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading project management for design and construction projects
- Experience facilitating project design and construction-related meetings and presentations
- Knowledge of construction processes, building, and life safety codes
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite, MS Project, Excel, and similar tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with project delivery methods such as design-build or design-bid-build
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies like OSHPD/HCAI for California projects
- Proficiency in BlueBeam, Adobe Pro, or similar software
