      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare and post a weekly recreation calendar for residents
      - Develop, implement, and evaluate a recreation program to meet resident needs
      - Participate in multi-disciplinary care planning
      - Conduct individualized recreation assessments and care plans
      - Maintain attendance records of individual participation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or related field, or associate's degree in recreation or a related field
      - One year's experience in long-term care or five years' experience in recreation in long-term care
      - Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
      - Ability to interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, and the general public
      - Interest in and understanding of the aging process and dementia
      - Ability to work independently and within a flexible schedule
      - Good oral and written communication skills
