What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule cardiology testing and appointments for clinics
- Manage scheduling queues, including inbasket/staff messages and MyChart requests
- Attach referrals to scheduled appointments and ensure referral requirements are met
- Collaborate with the Referral Queue team and support the appointment desk as needed
- Maintain a scheduling volume of 45-55+ referrals/inbaskets/MyChart requests daily
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months of related medical office or scheduling experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer proficiency (EMR, Outlook, phone systems, faxing, etc.)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Epic or other EMR scheduling systems
- Familiarity with referral, inbasket, or MyChart workflows
- High attention to detail and organized work style
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
