- Visit customers and technical conferences in-person to develop, monitor and manage opportunities and give technical presentations. Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers, growing gross margin where possible.
- Identify and obtain technical customer requirements, develop and execute strategies to win new business from commercial refrigeration end-users, agents, contractors, OEM's and system integrators.
- Develop and drive pricing and rebate strategies per account.
- Provide pre-and-post sales technical assistance to customers
- Drive creative solutions to minimize the importance of price and maximize the differentiated values of the product
- Support accounts receivables to ensure customer payments and participate in developing credit terms as needed.
- Participate in the annual budget setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects
- Ethically report regularly on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect business strategies and on quotation & project potential
- Technical education or bachelor's engineering degree
- Product management and product launch experience
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art ERP software (our client runs SAP) and CRM software.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional technical sales experience with a manufacturer, contractor, system integrator or relevant end-user.
