What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct targeted prospect calls to develop new and existing business growth
- Analyze sales results and develop strategies to enhance dealer performance
- Support event selling, customer meetings, and trade shows in partnership with dealers
- Collaborate with cooperatives and dealers to execute sales growth strategies
- Maintain accurate client history records and provide tracking reports within the CRM

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related agriculture field preferred; relevant experience may be considered
- Proven sales track record with an emphasis on animal science/nutrition
- Solid understanding of equine husbandry, management practices, and nutritional guidelines
- Ability to travel up to 25% overnight
- Basic knowledge of animal nutrition and management recommendations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sales within the agricultural or animal nutrition industry
- Established relationships with local cooperatives or dealers
- Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking sales and marketing activities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programs
- Knowledge of Purina feed programs and technologies
