      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Maintain accurate records in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements
      - Obtain and update required referrals and authorizations via various communication methods
      - Review daily reports for patients needing authorizations, pre-notification, and insurance benefit verification
      - Coordinate with patients regarding their insurance benefits and identify deductibles, co-pays, and self-pay accounts
      - Assist management and staff with account inquiries and perform additional duties as assigned

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of revenue cycle in healthcare and clinic policies and procedures
      - Proficiency in medical terminology, CPTS, and ICD-9 coding
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to work effectively with billing and medical staff as well as external agencies
      - Experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy in a fast-paced environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with managed care contracts and utilization
      - Experience in solving utilization problems and gathering claim information
      - Knowledge of computer systems, programs, and spreadsheet applications
