Overview
The Regional Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the implementation of all Loss Prevention functions for the assigned territory, including conducting internal and external theft investigations, conducting LP Audits, training and developing store employees and field partners and supporting physical security initiatives.
This position will be based in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale FL market and will support retail locations for multiple brands under the SPARC Group ownership throughout the Southeast & Puerto Rico Region.
This position requires up to 50% overnight travel.
Responsibilities
• Implement the Loss Prevention program in all stores throughout the assigned territory to protect the assets of the company.• Conduct regular store visits to execute the Loss Prevention Strategy, by training and developing store employees and managers to safely prevent and deter theft to decrease the inventory shrink in the assigned locations.• Initial and conduct professional internal and external theft and fraud investigations, partnering with the Corporate Investigations Team to resolve assigned investigations. Partner with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies where applicable in regards to company investigations. • Conduct Loss Prevention Audits in the assigned locations with an emphasis on identifying non-compliance to corporate polices and training store employees to correct operational deficiencies. Re-cap and communicate audit finding to various field and corporate business partners. • Partner with, advise and provide Loss Prevention support to District Sales Managers and Regional Vice Presidents in executing Loss Prevention initiatives in their stores to reduce overall inventory shrink.• Facilitate District/Regional Loss Prevention training workshops for Store Management and patriciate in other District/Regional business meetings to train on Loss Prevention initiatives.• Monitor compliance to the Focus Store Program in participating stores.• Prepare, review and complete various forms of Loss Prevention reporting in the LP system ThinkLP, including external thefts and major safety incidents as well as internal investigation case documentation.• Respond to all emergency situations with priority and a sense of urgency, keeping the main focus on the safety of our employees and customers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-unit retail asset protection is required.• Loss Prevention Certified/Qualified or the equivalent combination of retail loss prevention experience is strongly preferred.• Strong interview, interrogation and investigative skills required, Wicklander-Zulawski training required, CFI strongly preferred• Strong organizational skills• Excellent written and verbal communication• Understanding of retail controls, policies and procedures• Presentation skills• Creative and Analytical thinking• Ability to work with all levels of management and outside agencies (police, court stem, etc.)• Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, ASPECT and APIS.sy• Be available to respond to LP related situations at all times of the day, 7 days a week• Ability to travel throughout assigned regionals, including overnight travel, at least 50% of the time throughout the year.• Possess a valid state-issued Driver’s License and US Passport• Travel may be required, based on business needs.• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
