- Embed and sustain initiatives in the context of the CB Sales and Service Experience
- Build coaching capability in the delivery of a sales experience where we are listening to our clients, focused on learning their needs, and proactive in solving their needs with maximum advice and solutions at first point of contact
- Champion digital enablement by becoming an advocate of the RBC mobile application and wallet. Stay at the forefront of all new features. Advance coaching capability on how to educate clients on ease of use, increase adoption, and ensure activation (i.e. Digital Navigator.)
- Champion and advance capability in planning and executing partnering activities that delivers coordinated client contact strategies, optimal client experience, and business outcomes (i.e. RBC Group Advantage, Commercial Financial Services, Career Sales Force, Advice Centre, Private Banking)
- Advance regional business performance and sales/service effectiveness through Regional Sales Coaches, oversight in deployment of specialized resources (GAM, RFPC, Direct Investing, National Office credit card specialists, etc.), and collaboration amongst Regional Community of Advisors (i.e. SE, MBPS, HR, Capacity Management, Operations)
- Lead a team of subject matter experts and advance effectiveness in market management, sales management, and coaching practices
- Leads a team of Regional Sales Coaches (Integrated Markets and CFS) with mandate of advance sales effectiveness and business performance
- Enable Market and Sales Leaders in optimizing capacity through prioritized regional and in market capability building focus and support
- Advocate for sales leaders/forces with National Office partners including escalating gaps/requirements focused on Simpler, Faster, Better ways of doing business
- Conduct trailer calls with sales leaders to determine effectiveness of diagnostic, coaching, and capability building support provided
- Leverage reward and recognition (RBC Performance) and champion sales campaigns and programs to celebrate achievements, focus activities, and generate/sustain results
- Proven sales leadership and coaching experience
- Strong business acumen and execution skills with the ability to translate strategies and business plans into action and outcomes
- Exceptional prioritization and time management skills with ability to optimize productivity through synergistic collaboration
- Proven leadership and business performance management skills
- High degree of interpersonal effectiveness, professionalism, and entrepreneurism
- Aptitude for working under tight deadlines, high volumes and quick decision making
- Prior experience in leading a diverse team with bottom line accountability
- Solid verbal and written communication skills

- Sales Management experience in two or more line of business (i.e. retail, commercial, Advice Center, private banking, insurance, etc)
- Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent, ideally in Commerce, Business Administration or related experience

What is the opportunity?
In this role, you are responsible for advance sales and service coaching capability of sales leaders/force to drive revenue through improved sale and service effectiveness and client experience. You will embed and sustain strategic initiatives (national and regional) by leading and prioritizing deployment of a team of expert sales coaches and resources. You are accountable to lead and coach to the effective application of the CB Sales and Service Experience, sales and market management, sales and service practices, change management, coaching, and skill building. You will also support the development and execution of robust sales activity plans.
