What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Hire, lead, manage, and coach a team of 11-13 retail sales representatives
- Participate in strategic planning for the retail channel, including business plans and targets for growth
- Assist retail sales reps with business development planning and execution
- Foster relationships with key distribution partners and wholesale field sales leaders to drive sales growth
- Manage sales metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on opportunities and challenges
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-7 years of sales experience in retail and/or home center channels (Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of coaching and mentoring talent
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM platforms (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics)
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to effectively communicate across various organizational levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Sales/Marketing
- Knowledge of the wholesale distribution channel
- Completion of a professional sales training program or certificate
