      Description

      POSITION SUMMARY

      Branch support for the following regions within Texas: Sherman, DFW, Waco, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, McAllen, Laredo, Houston, Brazosport, Lake Charles, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Jackson, Shreveport, and Longview. Will need to manage the day-to-day parts operation at the home branch level (parts support team will report directly to this individual). Will be required to assemble and lead a high-performing, customer-focused team. Ensures that his/her people work as a team to provide a hassle-free experience for our customers that are in contact with not only the Parts Departments, but also the Service, Rental and Sales Departments. Effectively drive change within his/her organization to insure one consistent way of doing business with other Equipment Depot locations. Achieve business objectives (as measured by Key Performance Indicators) by improving the skills and professionalism within our parts operation. Improve efficiency of his/her parts department is a key factor of responsibility.

      Essential Functions Statement(s)

      • Communicate and promote the Equipment Depot vision and mission within his/her team.

      • Ensure Parts Department KPIs - relating to efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction are consistently met for home branch.
      • Support branch initiatives within location that is being assisted.
      • Work with local Director of Product Support on Regional, OPCO and companywide objectives.
      • Work with Parts Managers and Parts Specialists within each North Texas location on specific parts and inventory KPIs that require improvement.
      • Develop and execute plan of improvements specific to North Texas location as needed.
      • Will be required to handle disciplinary issues involving personnel if/when they occur in home branch.
      • Work with his/her General Manager within home branch to develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans, objectives and goals for each location under his/her responsibility, along with a plan of action about how to achieve them.
      • Handle customer requests, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner within home branch.
      • Complete performance reviews as/when required for everyone within his/her organization within home branch.
      • Assist in the recruiting and development of his/her Parts Department within home branch.
      • Assist with understanding of and training on parts reports, parts consignments, cycle counting and van parts replenishment at branch level within North Texas locations.
      • Train parts associates within North Texas locations as needed.
      • Assists with annual physical parts inventory within the North Texas Region.

      Qualifications


      SKILLS & ABILITIES

      Education: College Degree Preferred or equivalent experience
      Experience: 5 years proven parts and management experience
      Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products prior knowledge
      Other Requirements:

      • Regional travel and some overnight travel required
      • Good communication, leadership and team-building skills.
      • Proven problem-solving ability. Adept at conflict resolution.
      • Must be able to effectively delegate projects and task lists to others.
      • Prior experience in leading a parts team.
      • Must be able to interpret and understand financial statements and budgeting/forecasting.
      • Can develop, manage, motivate and lead a parts team.
      • Ability to manage individuals within Parts Department.
      • Coordinate associate roles and activities to meet customer needs and work in tandem with a centralized effort of North Texas initiatives.
      • Ability to communicate standardization process and procedure across all six North Texas locations.
