      POSITION: South Central Regional Sales Manager

      DEPARTMENT: Channel Sales

      REPORTS TO: Director of Channel Sales

      POSITION SUMMARY

      This position will report to the Director of Commercial Sales and is responsible for managing the South Central Region. This position will be responsible for research, analysis and presentation of commercial opportunities for future direction and growth for the South Central market. The position develops and implements planning and strategy for new business opportunities at the architect, developer and general contractor level. Identify and approach key or strategic partners and set short and long-term program goals. Implement corporate strategy, maintain a safe work environment and be a good steward of Nichiha.

      This position is a very relationship focused role, it will be necessary for the candidate to be well-versed in building rapport with customers as well as with leaders both internally and externally. The Business Unit manager will be interacting externally with various architects and designers. Internal communication with other Nichiha Regions and Territory Managers, Technical Department Teams, Inside Sales Team and Preferred Nichiha Dealers partners.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Lead Territory managers with the focus of Introducing Nichiha AWP to design teams to develop Nichiha product specification and develop programs for repetitive opportunities.
      • Ensure that Nichiha USA is presented with optimum business opportunities to create long term growth and success.
      • Work with Director of Channel Sales to implement strategic plan for growth that emphasizes increased sales.
      • Review and maintain high profile customer relationships as identified by Director of Commercial Sales.
      • Provide strategic input to Director of Channel Sales. Identify and report on potential opportunities to promote sales growth.
      • Be an expert on product, market, competition in the exterior cladding space.
      • Understand needs and customer expectations of Nichiha AWP.
      • Lead and Manage SalesForce activities with the Territory Managers


      COMPETENCIES:

      • The ideal candidate for the Regional Sales Manager position has strong business acumen, professional presence, excellent interpersonal skills and critical/creative problem solving skills.
      • The candidate should have a proven past history creating of leadership and establishing short and long term sales execution.
      • The candidate understands the construction process and fundamental challenge of an extended sales cycle for specified products and V.E. optimization.
      • Ability to make an impact on key decision makers
      • Excellent team player but also works well independently
      • Attends national, regional and customer trade shows to create Nichiha market presence.
      • Ability to handle multiple projects


      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • Bachelor's degree required
      • At least 10 years of progressive sales experience
      • Comfortable with "hands-on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
      • Experience leading teams.
      • Experience developing and driving strategies.
      • Outstanding organization, time management, and administrative skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
      • Demonstrated ability to exercise effective judgment, confidentiality and sensitivity to employee needs and business situations
