What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and direct a rep agency sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within the Plumbing and Heating Wholesale Division
- Establish and negotiate pricing, product rebate programs, and shelf space with Sales Director approval
- Train, educate, and reinforce policies and procedures among sales representatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and contractors
- Participate in marketing and sales trade shows and create sales promotions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a relevant field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- In-depth knowledge of business, sales, and marketing
- Proven experience managing independent sales representatives
- Sales experience in the plumbing industry within comparably sized manufacturing/distribution organizations
- Leadership experience directing independent business representatives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive relationship network in the plumbing industry
- Preference for candidates to reside within the territory (TX, OK, AR, LA, MS), with exceptions for the greater Cleveland/Akron area of Ohio
