Established over 150 years ago, both Wilo and American-Marsh share the unique distinction of being two of the oldest pump manufacturers in the world. Collectively, our five divisions cover the Industrial, Municipal, Commercial, Irrigation, and Fire Protection markets.

      We are seeking a dynamic Northeast Regional Sales Manager, located in the Northeast Corridor, who will ensure profitable growth within a designated geographical territory, establish and continually monitor KPIs to ensure the meeting and exceeding of corporate sales goals, and contribute to the development and growth of Wilo USA sales, service, and aftermarket directives. This position is for the Water Management sales channel. The Northeast territory includes New England, as well as New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

      Primary Job Duties:
      • Define and carry out business plans to achieve targeted revenue & profitability goals. Define and monitor KPIs through action planning with the regional sales team, and initiate necessary actions.
      • Analyze and monitor Water Management market trends, guiding the channel partner network necessary for growth.
      • Collaborate with the internal application engineering team to develop, review, and qualify specifications for pumping equipment, control panels, ancillary items, start-up & commission services, and customer training.
      • Preparation and submission of comprehensive technical proposals for channel partner network, consulting engineers, and construction management companies.
      • Ensure that all customer technical & commercial requests are satisfied promptly. Initiate internal coordination with respective departments and department heads to resolve requests and problems quickly & efficiently.
      • Attend both local and national Water Management trade shows.
      • Coordinate large-scale project development & design opportunities with the Water Management National Sales Manager.

      Requirements

      Education and Experience:
      • Degree in technical engineering or business management
      • 7-10 years of experience in sales of engineered products, preferably within the pump and rotating equipment space
      • Superior writing and verbal communication skills and the ability to present in-depth technical presentations
      • Exposure to both short and long cycle municipal planning & design development, and project delivery
      • Desire and professionalism to work and operate independently
      • Proven Levels of Sales Achievement and the ability to meet aggressive goals and well-defined objectives
      • Self-motivated with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire for success
      • Proficient use of the following Microsoft Products: OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
      • Preparedness to travel (overnight travel by car and air required) 65%
      • Reside in a central Metropolitan Area within the state, within 45-60 minutes from a major airport.
